Description

This fan-made game tells the story of why chaos emeralds are no longer used in Sonic series games until 2022 and what events happened between Sonic Unleashed and Sonic Colors.

Eggman is up to his old tricks again and steals the Chaos Emeralds. Sonic and Tails are on their way to stop him! But something is wrong here... Why did he need the emeralds so urgently? Why did G.U.N. send Agent Shadow after him?

And who are these strange monsters that attack everyone who happens to be near the Gaia Temples?

Responsibilities

Connecting the Two Final Bosses:
1. Artificial Intelligence Integration:
  • Design sophisticated AI behaviors for the final bosses, ensuring they interact seamlessly with the player.
  • 2. Targeting and Attacks:
  • Implement a dynamic targeting system where the boss identifies the player character, initiating an animated, projectile-based attack that homes in on its target.
  • Program the boss to reposition itself to distant locations while using a laser attack that continuously tracks and follows the player's movements.
  • 3. Strategic Movements and Area of Effect (AoE):
  • Command the boss to centralize within the arena before unleashing devastating AoE attacks.
  • Equip the boss with powerful slash attacks for close-range combat, ensuring it can counter any player approaching too closely.
  • 4. Damage Mechanics and Animation Blueprints:
  • Establish damage parameters for each boss, incorporating detailed animated blueprints that define the visual and mechanical aspects of their attacks.
  • 5. Phase Two - Enhanced Combat Mechanics:
  • Transition to the second phase of the boss fight by introducing an additional skeletal mesh. Sync it with animations tailored for both direct attacks and expansive AoE maneuvers.
  • Develop and integrate a variety of skills and abilities to keep the battle challenging and engaging.
  • 6. User Interface and Mathematical Functions:
  • Connect gameplay mechanics with the user interface widgets for real-time player feedback.
  • Utilize mathematical algorithms to fine-tune attack patterns, damage calculations, and other critical game functions.
